Lazy learning
Have a look at this book on how to learn new things more easily.
It contains some clear and helpful descriptions of how we learn, as well as some the blocks to learning many of us acquire over a lifetime.
It starts from the premise that, as Sir John Harvey-Jones said:
“In my experience, it is extremely difficult to teach grown-up people anything. It is, however, relatively easy to create conditions under which people will teach themselves.”
If you want to learn more for yourself, or if you ever need to teach others how to do something, you may find it helpful. I enjoyed it and I think you will too.
I wish I had read it when I was busy studying at school or university.
